The Beginning

After the news of my wife, Danielle, and my self’s first expected child we thought of opening a toy store. Of course we did not as of then have a name for the store, and neither did we have a name for our son. It was one of several business ideas that we had thought of for the neighborhood we lived in. Both Danielle and I worked very long hours in two separate careers and we felt that we wanted to pool our energy together to start a business that would serve our community as well as be close to home. It was not until the pregnancy of our second child that we seriously re-examined the ideas of opening our own business. The original idea of an independent toy store was the absolute choice based on our own experiences trying to find the products we wanted for our own children.
So in November of 2005 The Toy Space Inc. was born. The qualities of an independent family run toy store with a dedication in product knowledge and excellent customer service. Importantly we aim to recommend and supply unique, durable and sensible toys that would inspire young minds through play.
We wanted to give a fun and cheerful environment that was tactile and informative to the customers concerns and interests.
Since our opening we have enjoyed great growth and a wonderful family of regular customers. We look forward to many years of being a growing part of our community and a source for people to find products that inspire the blooming imagination and creativity of our future generation.
